We are friends. We made up our minds we were going to attend the Professional Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Course that was offered in the Washington, D.C. area. We had looked at getting certified as legal nurses for awhile and decided it was time to do it.
Our plan: Get PLNC certified and open up our legal nurse consulting business together.
So, we took the PLNC course and it was fabulous. We agreed it was the best course we’d ever taken. Looking back, I can’t remember if we got our business cards, letterhead and CV’s together first, or we just called three attorneys. Anyway, the first attorney told us to come into his office and we landed our first case!
Shall we say, the rest is history. We’ve been reviewing medical records ever since and it’s keeping us so busy.
Mission accomplished.
